Track list:
1. Charlene
2. She Walks at Sunrise
3. Until the End
4. Oh Sweety
Genre: Metalcore
For Fans Of: IMMORAL, God Forbid, Atreyu
A Deadly wish's first EP. I'll be honest i like the ep
but the recording sound a little low the vocals/instruments could have been a
little bit louder on this, but oh well.
"Charlene"
This song starts
off with some guitar and some drums followed by the screamer. Instead
of an intro song that's 45 seconds long or a minute this cuts the cake for an
intro to this ep. It shows the sound they're giving off and trying to make,
possibly one of my favorite songs on this EP. One thing i noticed is
the drumming is loud and can be heard clearly.
Breakdown:
Screams: The
screams are mostly lows with some highs mixed with them, sounds pretty nice in
all honesty the vocalist’s style is one of a kind for sure.
Instruments:
Pretty heavy, definitely a great way to start off the ep and show
people what things are going to sound like. The guitar riffs are worth
listening to on this song as-well as the drumming and everything
else instrument wise.
"Until The End"
Second song on
this great EP listening to this ep makes me wonder how such great bands never
get picked up or noticed. This song is another favorite to say the least, the
intro caught my attention along with the screamer and "breakdown".
This song also happens to be the longest song on the ep.
Breakdown:
Screams: Screams
only in this song loud and proud! The lyrics go along with the screams which is
pretty new to hear, great to say the least.
Instruments: This
song has some good guitar riffs and the drumming is a bit heavier than the
first song. This song is heavier than the first song in a lot of way in all
honesty.
"Oh
Sweety"
One thing about
this song is that it introduces the clean vocals. This song is a bit softer
than the other two songs this song is sort of like a turning point of the song.
Breakdown:
Cleans: This is the first song
to have clean vocals on this ep the clean vocals definitely fit
pretty well with this band’s sound.
Screams: The
screams kind of mix in with the clean vocals, but there are still more screams
than cleans on this song.
Instruments: A little
bit softer than the other two songs but there are some heavy parts.
"She Walks At
Sunrise"
Last song on the
EP definitely a great way to end it also, this song is more like the
first and second song. No clean vocals, sadly! Still a great song none the less
Breakdown:
Screams: Once
again a song with no clean vocals, just screams the style of the screams can be
somewhat mistaken for cleans though. I like the screamers style a lot though.
Instruments:
Pretty heavy like the first and second song, such a great flow with
the instruments.
