Nailguns most recent release “New World Chaos” I’d have to say if you like guitar solos, guitar riffs or just guitars in general this album and band is for you. They have some really nice guitar solos in some of the songs and the vocals give off this aggressive sound off which is pretty neat to hear. This band is anything but soft as well. The vocal tone sounds angry almost always which I guess fits with their genre in a way. The lyrics are quite unusual one some of the songs, other songs aren’t really different from a lot of bands. This album was quite interesting to listen too because of the guitar riffs and the guitar play in a lot of the songs, mostly the intros lead you into the song because of the guitar. This bands song is about 4-6 minutes long, the longer the better right? Another thing with the lyrics is they sometimes don’t make the best sense, but they’re still pretty nice to listen to. A few songs that stick out on this album would have to be, Traitor, I Have Enough, Change Of Seasons, Time Is Running Out. I think that the two vocalists change on songs because the vocal style and the voice changes a little bit but that kind of just makes the album more diverse. But the guitars riffs are the one thing about this album that really stick out on a lot of the songs, and the two vocalist changing every so often, this band should have a really bright future ahead of them, I hope so at least.
Breakdown:
Cleans: Some of the songs have clean styled vocals but not a lot of them do if anything they’re screams or really deep growls, still pretty cool neat to listen to.
Screams: The vocals are kind of like screams, but mostly really deep sound growls, other songs kind of have the clean style, not fully but something like that.
Instruments: The main instrument thing that kind of sticks out in this band would be their guitar solos and the guitar riffs maybe the drumming to some extent but not fully. They have a pretty good overall style though.
