My Best Friend Plank, pretty interesting name for a single in fully honesty, the song itself is pretty good to listen to as well. The lyrics kind of hit home, the vocal styles are diverse for sure their vocalist kind of has a high range when the screamer is mid-high’s which always sounds pretty good when you put a clean vocalist with a high range with the screamer. The instruments are pretty good, this song was musically and vocally amazing, this alone would make you want to buy their new album when it comes out. I think the recording sounds kind of dull, but it still sounds pretty good and they did a good job production wise. This song’s lyrics would be the most enjoyable thing though I have to say for the reason being it kind of sounds like a breakup song or a song about an ex friend, songs that have a really heavy meaning behind them usually are the best songs to come out a band. The breakdown in this song was pretty good along with the little vocal breakdown near the middle of the song. When the vocalist kind of talks then goes back into singing was pretty neat to listen to. I hope the new album “Reborn” sounds as good as this single.
Breakdown:
Cleans: The clean vocal has the high-ish type of a range it’s pretty nice to listen to and would make girls go crazy.
Screams: The screamers style got my attention and production on his screams isn't the best it could have been a lot better in full honesty. But his screams still came out pretty good.
Instruments: The overall sound sounds kind of heavy but it has a mixture with hard/soft, I’d have to say the overall sound was pretty nice to listen to and fit with both of the vocal styles.
