Lakeview's sound definitely
unique and makes you wonder what’s going to happen next. Theirs a few really
nice breakdowns in this song and the vocal style gets very aggressive which
makes the listening too this song interesting. The one thing about this song
that sets it apart from most pop/post-hardcore bands is that this song is
catchy and has poppy choruses but at the same time it’s kind of post-hardcore
with a heavy sound behind it. The intro too this song is probably the biggest
attention drawer, because when your listening to It, it makes you sort of want
to listen to the whole song and maybe give it another listen, these boys sure
do know how to draw your attention with their music. The song doesn't have a boring
part at all through this song, it’s indeed exciting to through the whole three
minutes you’re going to listen to this song, and not a second was wasted. I’m surprised
this band hasn't blown up yet, mainly for the reason of their sound sounding
different and not like every other post-hardcore band, nor do they rip off anyone
else they have their own style and they keep their style. This band is doesn't one band to check out if you don’t listen to them yet.
Breakdown:
Cleans: Their clean
vocalist is less aggressive than their screamer, his vocals a bit more calm and
relaxed and the flow of his vocals is on point with the song.
Screams: Their screamers
style changed up a bit from older music, not big change but they’re definitely learning
how to mature certain things in their band which is really good to do after
some time. Their screamers style is aggressive and loud and gives you something
to really listen too.
Instruments: Pretty soft
at the intro, then it just gets really aggressive and heavy, it’s a mixture of
changes in this song. The breakdowns get really intense to listen too though.
