Black metal isn't really a huge genre as it once was way back then, but there are some really good black metal bands still out there making music, Immersed In Darkness is one of them, besides the recordings and the production of this album, it’s a great album to listen to, if the recording and the production was a little bit better. I’m sure the album would have been even better than it is now, but it just has that minor downfall to it.  From the intro to the first song they really get into it quickly and heavily, they don’t go soft on the first few songs, they go hard and they show you their sound. The vocals are pretty raw, no edits which is always a plus to hear in un-signed bands, it’s one way they show their talents very well, the guitar play on this album is pretty good, I really just don’t like the factor of the recording, it’s raw which is the best thing to hear, no edits what so ever, just kind of sounds like it was recorded quickly, even if that is the case the album did come out great and pretty heavy even with recordings and production, they put something out people can listen to and enjoy that’s all that matters in the end.
