Genre: Post-hardcore
For Fans Of: Attack Attack, The Word Alive, Pierce The Veil.
Second single off the bands album conceiver coming march 23rd! I’d have to say out of every post-hardcore band that comes out now a day, before you fall will be one that I’ll always like. The clean vocalists range… its insane how high he can go. The song itself is insane but the clean vocalist sticks out in this song. This band has a lot of talent everything in the band can be considered new and different, the vocals are one of those that stick out really clearly, the screamers more of a low range and the clean vocalist is a high range, put those two together and you make a song that’s perfect, surprised a label hasn’t come and picked these dudes up either. One thing I really enjoy about this song isn’t only the mixture of the vocals but the overall sound of the band is good, the lyrics to this song are really good as well. This is a song a band could try to use get a chance on a record label or get some more exposure for the band. I’m honestly hoping these dudes get picked up or something, listening to this song over and over its label material. The only thing I think that really makes this song stick out though has to be the clean vocalists vocal range, it’s just really weird to hear in their genre of music.
Breakdown:
Cleans: The clean
vocalists range is insane he goes pretty high his range which is really weird
to hear in post-hardcore.
Screams: the screamer is
the complete opposite in this song his range is lows and only lows.
Instruments: The overall sound
of the song is heavy and stays that way with a great flow to it, but it never
gets old to listen too and has an amazing flow to it.

Last album from Brotha Lynch Hung on strange music, for a rapper i must Brotha Lynch Hung stands out… Horror rap has become my favorite style of rap because of this album it’s really creepy and sometimes you think you’re horror movie. Some of the lyrics are this album seriously scare me and creeps me out a lot. The beats in most of the songs are really good and the other rapper that feature on this album are great and stay to the horror style none of them really changes it just add on to it. Brotha Lynch Hung is an old rapper i think he kind of came out when snoop dog did (odd enough right?) some of the skits are creepy and add on to the whole horror feeling. A few songs on this very long album that stand out are, Eating You, The Package, Meat Cleaver, Stabbed and Sweeny Todd. Stabbed was probably my personal favorite on this album because it features tech n9ne and hopsin two really big artists and well known and great rappers. I’m actually kind of glad Bortha Lynch had all these futures on this album I mean Yelawolf is one of the best along with tech and hopsin, his verse went hard in Tha Package.

too. All of them fit with the whole horror scene as well, which is really nice to hear none of them changed brotha lynch hungs style at all.
Beats: The beats change a lot, but greatly
made and add onto the horror feeling.

6. Ivory's Ashes (ft. Frankie Palmeri)
7. Soul Remedies
Genre: Post-hardcore
For Fans Of: Beartooth, Attack Attack, Emmure
I'm going to have to say this is the first time I’ve seen Frankie Palmeri do guest vocals on another bands album/ep. This ep is amazing I must say, the intro was great and gets you straight into the music right after the little electronic parts, starts off heavy too which is always really nice. The band’s screamer and clean vocalist stick out in their own ways and it kin d of sounds like two different styles and coming together and clashing together to make an original sound. A few songs that stick out on tis ep would have to be, Deadbeat, Scheme Artists, Ivory’s Ashes, two great guest vocalists on one ep completely crazy. Caleb Shomo definitely kills his track on this ep, he’s always been one to make a great impression when he does his vocals on another band’s music. Dead beat has a few different effects in the song which is really cool because it’s not just the instruments and the vocalists it’s some different stuff to make the songs worth more of a listening joy. Franki Palmeri, this song also happens to my favorite on this ep not because Frankie’s on it but because the song is great even without his vocals the song would be amazing to listen too but his part, my favorite thing to listen too over and over again. I’m kind of hoping this band makes it far in their careers.

Breakdown:
Screams:
The screamers style is interesting to listen too because it’s somewhat generic
but different because his voice, it’s something really neat to listen too as
well.
Guest
vocals: Caleb shomo’s vocals sound as they always do on his music and other
bands music, he really doesn’t change his style much but he always puts out
something great to listen too. Frankie, one of my favorite vocalists he sort of comes on at the song’s breakdown
which only makes it heavier and a lot better to listen too.
Cleans:
Not much of the clean vocals, but they’re there on a few choruses kind of stood
out to me, I wasn’t expecting cleans on an ep that might be why. The last song really shows the most of the clean vocals.
Instruments:
Nothing soft on this album, this EP is for the most part is brutal to listen
too. The drumming on some songs is just amazing, the guitar and bass too they’re
definitely a talented group of guys in this band who make some really great
music to listen too.

4. Devils Rage
5. Glorious Liberation
6. Inhuman
7. Stupid
Genre: Melodic Death Metal
For Fans Of: Arch Enemy, At The Gates, Dark Age
The
intro kind of gives the depressed vibe for some reason, at least i think so.
The intro was actually pretty cool because of that too and the vocals are low
and soft pretty cool as well, kind of made me want to listen to the EP more. This
band is pretty good a new favorite death metal band to me. For a first release
this wasn't produced or recorded that bad it was actually really decent
recording wise. Most of the songs are 5 minutes, but hey who doesn't love songs
that are longer than 2-3 minutes? A few songs that stick out on this album have
to be, Intro, Because Of You, Inhuman, Stupid. Don’t you love the last tracks
name? “stupid” made me laugh anyway.. Because of you kind of reminded me of a
metal breakdown song, lyric wise and the instruments kind of made me think of a
loud and a hateful vibe for some reason. Inhuman is probably my favorite song
on this album because of the guitar riffs and the vocals sound kind of
demon-like. Lyric wise it’s okay not the best but good. I’d have to say for 5
minute songs you don’t get a minute wasted at all. After listening to this ep for a few times, I can
honestly say I’m ready for a debut album to come out some time in the near
future.
Breakdown:
Screams:
I’m going to call the vocals screams, what I’m technically used too, I’d have
to they’re a mixture of growls and screams which is really neat to listen too
at first then over and over kind of gets boring, not with this band though not
at all.
Instruments:
Mainly pretty heavy besides the intro which is kind of a depressing intro to
start an ep.

Belle Histoire's debut album! Belle Histoire is hands down my favorite indie band to come out. Jane's vocals are so good and different in a sense of a female vocalist. There's really nothing to dislike about this band, they're pretty talented at what they do and their songs are calm and relaxed and chill. This is one of those albums that you'd listen when you're writing an essay or a huge report it's just a relaxing album too. A few songs that really stick out on this album, Don't Run Away, See You Again, My Dear. My dear was actually the first song by Belle Histoire i heard and from there i bought the album and became a fan of the band. I’d have to say Jane is one talented female in this scene of music she has the style and can stick with the flow without every getting off that flow. The instruments keep a great flow and great vibe to the music which only makes it more worth the listen. At the end of “My dear” they kind of talk about random topic, I don’t know if that was meant or not but I thought it was kind of different to hear. This album is one of my favorites from an indie band in all honesty.

Cleans: Jane’s vocals… Wow she is in
all the sense of the word talented her range is amazing and fits so well in
everything song. I honestly couldn’t see anyone else really being a vocalist of
this band and fitting as well as she does.
Instruments: The instruments flow is so
good, and the vibes they give off are just perfect. There are some “different”
kind of instruments on this album near the end of it, a cello I think and a
piano.

Belle Histoire has to be one of my personal favorite indie artists. Jane has a great voice and it fits with the bands sound greatly. Jane is highly talented along with her band, her vocal range is amazing in the genre, her lyrics are brilliant she should definitely big a lot bigger than she is right now, in my honest opinion she could easily be one of the females of indie.

"Stay Away"
This song has an amazing jazz feel to it and great flow. Jane's
voice is one of the type of voices that fits with the sound so well.
Breakdown:
Cleans: Jane's vocals are the perfect fit with the
instruments on this song, they stay together greatly.
Instruments: The instruments definitely give off the
jazz feeling, a really great flow to them as well.
"Be Alright"
This song is kind of sounds more like a pop song with the lyrics
and the little stop and they clap near the end, Jane's vocals get a bit rough
too.
Breakdown:
Cleans: Jane’s vocals still fits perfectly with the flow of the
song. Her vocals get a little rough near the end.
Instruments: Kind of a pop feeling in this song, near the end
everyone (I’m guessing) stops and starts clapping.
"Misguided"
3rd song and most depressing song on this EP, you can feel the
emotion the song has behind it pretty well the vocals just give it more of the
push it needs to express the emotion.
Breakdown:
Cleans: Jane’s vocals show a
bit of emotion. You can feel in her voice, and you can tell it’s a breakup/disaster
song really well
Instruments: Soft kind of slow, gives the depressing vibe off
really well.
"Sailing Ships"
Another slow and depressing song by Belle Histoire, they’re
really good at expressing their emotions in songs. This is my favorite song lyric wise.
Breakdown:
Cleans: Jane sounds
depressed and expresses it in her vocal range pretty well, her range in this song
is something to be heard.
Instrument: Slow and depressing and has a steady pace to
everything.

2. This Is Not Humanity
3. Love´s Long Dead
4. Father

Genre: Death Metal
For Fan Of: Suffocation, Decide, Death
Just got to listening this
album, it sounds pretty good in I've never heard of Epitome Of Frail... But i
can say they deserve more exposure in the music scene. The album artwork
is pretty neat though. The intro is kind of depressing just the way it sounds seems
like it could be a death scene in a movie or something, i think it could
probably match up with the album name, "Death Of Society?” After the intro
they get right into the music they don't start slow either, they start brutally
heavily to get you interested. This band doesn't really sound like
most death metal bands, I think they sound more like a metal band to be honest
might be because the vocals are missing the death metal sound to them. A few
song that stick out on this album are, This Is Not Humanity, Love’s Long Dead,
No Answer, and Society. Society has a really weird intro to the song for a
death metal, but the song kind of gives them that push to end the album on a
good note and the song is pretty good and I’d have to say it was a great way to
end the album. Love’s Long Dead is my favorite song on this album because of
the lyrics is great. This album is something to check out if you like new bands
/ death metal.
Breakdown:
Screams: The screams kind
of lack in a few places for a death metal band just doesn't fit with the genre.
But the vocalist is pretty good with his style.
Instruments: This album,
awkwardly enough has a mix of heavy songs and soft songs, it’s awkward because
death metal bands keep the heavy sound in every song on their album. But this
band isn’t like every other death metal band.
