4. Tempest

Genre: Metal
For Fans Of: Inside The Cynic, A Mavericks Revenge, Breathtaker

First release from Balors eye, no vocals on this ep which is completely okay because the instruments act as the vocals in my opinion, they play a story through sounds which is always really cool to listen to, some of the bands that do this do it really well and make something that sounds pretty cool and really worth the listen. This so happens to be one of those bands I have to say this band has a lot of really cool breakdowns and drumming on this ep, it’s just amazing how a band can sound without vocals or anything but guitars and drum and a bass.

“Pissing Rainbows”
Probably the best way to start off their ep was with this song it’s really good, it has the mixture of heavy, soft, mid-way. It’s just all around perfection for a first song.
Breakdown:
Instruments: This songs main thing is the drumming the drummer does a lot of work on this song. There are only instruments on this ep, but that’s okay the instruments tell kind of a story with their sounds.

Door Führer
I don’t get the name of the song at all but oh well right? I’d have to say the intro gives off that sifi vibe. The guitar riffs on this song are pretty nice and well thought of.
Breakdown:
Instruments: The overall sound is something else, but the guitar riffs are amazing to listen to. The drumming Is really nice as-well the drummer is a bit louder than the guitar I think, but it still ended out a great song to listen to.

“Lobotomy Please”
The vibe this song gives off kind of creeps me out a little bit. The music structuring is pretty good though, the guitar and drums and bass all sound really good.
Breakdown:
Instruments: This song has a middle part where the instruments all speed up and get really intense and heavy. This is always pretty neat to listen to.

“Tempest”
Last but not least... At least I hope this isn't the last thing this band releases. I’d have to say this is the softest song on the whole ep, but it’s still good and has the vibe of a dream. Kind of sounds like it with the guitar.
Instruments: The song is pretty soft overall, some heavy riffs, some heavy drumming here and there lead with a  bass guitar that has a really cool sound to it and what not.
