The Things They Carried first single and probably the greatest way for the band to start a new year with new music, this single is more gothic then it is metal, the artwork for the single alone is creepy but a masterpiece. You’ll be spending four minutes listening to this song, four minutes you’ll love with everything. I’d have to say the vocalist’s style is a bit different then I’m kind of used too but it fit so well with the overall sound of the song. I’d have to say this song is kind of gives off the creepy vibe which is always so nice to listen to. This band is very talented and definitely lyrically geniuses with their lyrics kind of creepy in a way but not fully. The range of the vocals is nifty to listen too. There’s one part in the song that’s kind of heavy it speeds up all the instruments which gives is more listening pleasure to listen to. The drumming at that part is very fast and has a nice flow to it. The little screams that are in it are pretty neat too. In a way I kind of wish this song was longer than it happens to be.
Breakdown:
Cleans: Mostly cleans in this song, near the end a sort of scream pops up the vocalist’s style is neat and really adds to that creepy vibe it’s trying to give off their vocalist is pretty talented at singing and he does have the voice that fits very well with the creepy vibe, his style is a bit unique.
Instruments:  The sound overall is pretty soft giving out the creepy kind of vibe out, but there’s a part near the end where it speeds up and gives it a great finale to the song.
